Process Improvement – Its all about the benefits | We are Lean and Agile
f I had a pound for every time an analyst or PM or any other role said to me “we are not very good at the benefits side of change” I would be a very rich man. Ultimately no matter what approach we are taking to process improvement, the benefits of the change are one of the most important things to get right and by that I mean understood. We are not applying Agile, Lean, Waterfall, Design Thinking, Lean Start Up, Six Sigma or Kata (to name but a few approaches) to our organisations services, systems and processes as an academic exercise. Ultimately, we are trying to get an outcome or outcomes and these generally relate directly to benefits.
Harnessing the Power of AND - Katie Anderson
How often do you find yourself using the word BUT or framing a situation as an EITHER / OR scenario?

Lessons from building a venture capital backed business in 12 weeks | by Charlotte Fountaine | Jan, 2021 | Medium
In September 2020 I waved goodbye to my job as a UX Designer at Sainsbury’s. It felt like a wild move in the midst of a global pandemic. Online shopping sales were booming, it felt like the safest industry to be in. My colleagues were awesome, and I felt my design-work improved as I got feedback from software engineers and more seasoned UX/UI designers.
If innovation was human... - Cris Beswick
If innovation was human, how would it feel? Would it be frustrated and angry at seeing its potential wasted? Would it be full of hope and joy at the positive changes it could deliver to people’s lives and livelihoods? Or would it be like the rest of us; working through a mix of emotions as it tries to do the best it can in the face of multiple external factors?
